Give your basement a fresh start by giving it a well-deserved makeover by revising its layout and revitalizing its surroundings, including the bathroom. Take a look at this week's renovation done by the Lucas Richard Design team, and take some inspiration away for your own renovation this year.
SHOWER
This beautiful bathroom renovation has a complete space remodel with a glass-enclosed walk-in shower that gives off a spacious and spa-like feel to its surroundings. Its 12x24” Flow Greige wall and floor tiles along with Hextile Gris Claro Glossy's wall fixtures, it gives a clean and crisp look to it.
Recessed shower shelves are becoming a trend when it comes to remodelling bathrooms the past year. And why wouldn't they? It's the perfect little spot to keep all your shower essentials on hand without making your bathroom all messy!
VANITY AREA
The Flow Greige's floor and wall tiles used for the glass-enclosed shower perfectly match with Vanico-Maronyx's vanity in Oiled Walnut finish. They make a lovely colour clash. The mesmerizing illusion of a floating vanity is created by installing both vanity and cabinetry on the wall rather than directly onto the floor.
A brilliant bonus of this vanity's model is its built-in slow stop mechanism for the cabinetry. No more accidental door slamming and personal items sliding all over the place, and breaking.
SINK
To finish off today's remodel, a personal favourite. Among all the new fixtures added to this fantastic remodel, it has to be this beautiful wall-mount faucet by Riobel from their Salome Series (SA11). It gives the impression of a waterfall.
